Wales

I'd been to the UK many times, England and Scotland have always been my destinations and normally in the course of work. I had not been (to my knowledge in Wales and definitely not to Northern Ireland. I had a short trip to a location close to the Welch border and decided to remedy at least one of the two. I was limited on time so I concentrated on two locations. The first was stop was at Chepstow, where I had the pleasure of visiting Chepstow Castle, the oldest surviving post-Roman stone fortification in Britain. It was built beginning in 1067. I was able to wonder through it's well maintained structure and grounds with views of the River Wye.
